Regular Business Hours: Monday - Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Summer Hours (June 15-August 15): Monday 8:00am to 5:00pm & Tuesday-Wednesday 8:00am to 3:00pm

Appointments

Your scheduled appointment is reserved specifically for your child. Any change in this appointment affects all of our patients. If a cancellation is unavoidable, please call the office at least 24 hours in advance so that we may give that time to another patient. There is a no show/cancellation fee of $55 if the appointment is cancelled without 24 hours notice. Also, if you arrive 15-20 minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule for the next available appointment time. Please call at least 24 hours in advance if a cancellation is unavoidable.

We strive to see all patients at their scheduled appointment time. We will make every effort to see your child on time. Please remember that working with children is unpredictable, thus we run on children’s time, not adult time. Additionally, there are times when our schedule is delayed in order to accommodate an injured child or a child in pain. Please accept our apology in advance should this occur during your appointment. We will provide you the same courtesy if your child is in need of emergency treatment. Please let our front desk staff know if you have been waiting longer than 15 minutes.

Treatment Appointments

Appointments for young children (ages 8 and under) are scheduled in the morning. Treatment appointments are much easier when your child, the doctor, and staff are fresh.

For the safety and privacy of all patients, during treatment appointments, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult or other arrangements be made for their care during a sibling’s appointment.

Recall Appointments

Recall appointments are typically made six months in advance for your convenience. Since we see mostly school aged children, we find that our after school appointments are booked six months or more in advance, thus it is best to schedule your children promptly to assure a time that is convenient.

Emergency and After Office Hours

Dental emergencies are never convenient or timely, but Dr. Borg is committed to our patients’ dental health no matter what time of the day or night it is. If you are a current patient, and have a dental emergency after regular office hours, please call us at (530)228-9648 or (530) 877-9648.
